Youth Advocate Social Worker
CROYA is an important safety net for the youth in our community - a place where kids feel comfortable speaking freely with adults committed to listening and supporting them.
A licensed social worker, Jean Odwazny, LCSW, is available at CROYA for individual and family counseling by appointment only. Jean Odwazny is associated with CAFDC, Children Adolescent and Family Development Center, but maintains an office at CROYA and in Lake Bluff.

The social worker also assists teens with court-mandated service hours arising from convictions for a variety of offenses including DUI, drugs, drinking, speeding, vandalism, stealing and trespassing. Last year, a total of 40 students participated in this program through CROYA, putting in a total of 1,081 service hours.
