FAQs

What is GTT?

GTT is an excellent way for 7th and 8th grade girls to meet girls from other schools, engage in open discussion, and learn self advocacy skills in a comfortable group setting. Each of the 8-week sessions will introduce a creative activity along with a different topic focused around gender, relationships, mental health, diversity, and values. Our ongoing focus is to promote resiliency and self esteem while helping the girls to discover and be their best selves.

Who runs GTT?

The group will facilitated by Jean Odwazny, Social Worker and Caroline Hermes, Middle School Youth Worker at CROYA.

Is there a fee?

Yes. The cost for the group is $30; this fee takes into account transportation, supplies and snacks. Scholarships have been made available so that all students can participate; please contact us for more information.

Who can participate?

This summer GTT welcomes incoming 7th and 8th graders.  All are welcome, but space is limited. Please contact us should you have further questions.

Thank you for your interest!
