CROYA High School Program Information

CROYA sponsors a multitude of High School Programs, with the goal of each program to meet the needs of the youth of our community. Events are planned, organized, and driven by youth. Programs may be annual, monthly, weekly or even daily, depending on the needs and ideas of the students.  

To get involved in any of our current High School Programming, or if you have an idea for a new High School Program, talk to a  CROYA Staff member!

Youth Committee Meetings
Every Wednesday night (during the school year)
7:00 - 8:00 PM  @ CROYA
All high school students who live in or attend school in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Knollwood are welcome

Youth Committee meetings provide a relaxed atmosphere where high school students can take a mid-week break from their busy schedules to make new friends, learn about volunteer opportunities, vote on community events, join a CROYA subcommittee, coordinate with community resources, take on leadership roles, and have fun!

Youth Executive Committee
The CROYA Youth Executive Committee is an opportunity for dedicated kids to hold an elected leadership position within our organization. The Committee meets at least once a month to discuss current CROYA happenings and plan the future of CROYA high school programming. The Committee also may attend local City of Lake Forest events to represent CROYA and help promote our vision within the community.  

Elections for the Executive Committee take place in April for the upcoming school year.  

2010-2011 High School Executive Committee

Dinner Meetings
Dinner meetings take place before the Wednesday night Youth Committee meeting.  Some dinner meetings are Executive Committee only while others are open to all students. Check the calendar for dinner meeting details.  

Student Council & School Dances
 CROYA and LFHS Student Council work together to plan four high school dances each school year. We help coordinate the decorations, DJ Service, food and drink, door prizes and tickets. If you would like to get involved with planning a dance, contact Todd.
